Rockwool collected at recycling stations, as remnants of house insulation and old houses being rebuilt or demolished, has previously been a problematic waste product. Cormall, in collaboration with a leading renovation company, has developed a method to clean and remove the plastic, after which it can be used to cut the old Rockwool to a size that can be reused as insulation wall cavity.
The material is continuously filled into the machine with a wheel loader or the like without stopping the process, material is simultaneously emptied out of the machine and dosed into the subsequent cutting machine.
The two Ø800 augers transport the material to the top of the machine where the natural fold of the material allows the rear of the machine to be filled at any time, the machine fills from top to bottom and is always ready to receive more. Equipment.

The ready-made material can be handled in bulk and dumped into a truck or railcar by a wheel loader or the like
After Cormall buffer mixes, the material is compromised and divided through the sieve with a 10 mm drum sieve
The material can be both glass and Rockwoll, photo shows the material as it comes out of Cormall MTX buffer mixer
Steel debris is removed from the material with a multi-strip before the finished material is delivered from a strip in a bulk stack.
