At the end of the conveyer in front of the bale breaker/ shredder, is placed a large Ø 800 mm auger at an angle of approx. 25 degree.
This auger slowly opens up the bale and separates it into single stamps. The auger is suspended in a pendulum and in the case that the string has not been removed from the straw bale then this will course the auger to be pressed up and the adjustable angle sensor will give a signal. In this situation the bale table must stop feeding the system until the auger again has gone down in its normal working position.
