Cormall straw mill HDH 770 is suitable for larger quantities of material and  is often used for industrial production. The straw mill turbine can be equipped  with 45 kW electric motor.

Depending on this size of the current screen, the straw mill can produce an  arbitary fineness of the material.

Straw mill HDH 770/1000 consists of a flail rotor, screen, and also a blowing rotor. Straw is sucked into the housing and blown through the screen by the flail rotor. The air flow produced by the blower fan is sucking straw and air in through a Ø400/450 mm pipe and blowing it out through Ø300/350 mm pipe. Good air flow is important for optimal capacity. Transport length is max 30 meters from mill to cyclone/filter.

Capacity

Depending on screen size, straw quality, moisture content and power available, the capacity ranges from 500 to 4000 kg per hour.

The amps that drive the hammer mill are regulated and checked to speed up or slow down the feed rate to ensure optimum use.
